Last Mayday to June

Sorry for being gone for too long. My mind has been all over the place. I'm having a break from the first semester, plus I've been very *cough* sick these *cough* days *cough*. So I thought I should jump on here and give you a quick update.

The reason why I have been silent was that I found things very off-putting. I lost motivation and hopes. I was frustrated with everything I had been doing. I would say that my mental health was not in a very good stage but I couldn't tell you any further. Don't worry, I'm getting my shit together.

I'll create entries that are social issues related, starting off with the upcoming post about feminism. Is it depressing to see how women are objectified on every media that we consume? Stay tuned to see it.  Speaking of which, I'm so excited to watch the new episode of The Handmaid's Tale. Raise your daughter to be feminist, she spends all her time waiting to be rescued by men... no more! #FromMaydaytoJune

For your information, my camera can't be used now as I lent the memory card to a friend. (and someone is too busy with their readings to take photos of me!). While I'm making some congee for my nerd and pushing my friend to return the memory card, you can enjoy some of the photos that I took last month.

  • Me having sushi at Kisumé. I think it's too overhyped for its quality and rating. Would give it 7/10.

  • I storied this photo on Instagram and made a poll to vote if this is culture appropriation. Half said yes, half said no. What do you think? Is this culture appropriation?

  • Me standing in front of Ben & Jerry's, waiting for a vanilla pint. My right eye was swollen.

  • Me waiting for my coffee and creamy pasta at Virtue Coffee Roasters. I lost one of my pearl earrings. Soooooo sad.
Thank you for reading. I'll see you very soon.

Cheers,
Tam
